Founded in 1977, Banis Restaurant Design, Inc. is a full-service interior design and foodservice consulting firm specializing in restaurants, hospitality spaces, and market-to-foodservice environments. Thomas holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of San Francisco (Business) and the University of California, Berkeley (Environmental Design with an emphasis in Interior Architecture). His firm is an approved consultant for both the Catholic Archdiocese of San Francisco/Oakland and the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco, representing the Western States for foodservice consultation and construction.
